Pada Bulan Juli 2009 Irfan Bachdim ditransfer tanpa biaya ke klub HFC Haarlem. Dalam bermain Irfan Bachdim bisa menempati berbagai posisi, Irfan Bachdim dapat menempati posisi striker, gelandang maupun sayap.

Penampilan pertamanya bersama Tim Nasional dalam turnamen resmi terjadi pada 1 Desember 2010, saat Indonesia mengalahkan Malaysia 5-1 di Gelora Bung Karno pada ajang AFF 2010. Irfan sendiri mencetak 1 gol dalam pertandingan tersebut.

Pedrosa Menempati Pole Position
Brno - Dani Pedrosa menjaga momentum dan performanya di hari Sabtu (14/8/2010) dengan memenangi pula sesi kualifikasi MotoGP Republik Ceko. Pedrosa mendapatkan pole position di 40 detik terakhir penutupan sesi kualifikasi Moto Gp Ceko.

Setelah menjadi Rader yang terbaik di latihan kedua, Pedrosa juga membukukan waktu tercepat di sesi penentuan starting grid untuk balapan besok harinya . Ia melesat cepat menjelang sesi selesai dengan catatan satu menit 56,508 detik mengalahkan lawan2 nya.

Pencapaian tersebut sekaligus memecahkan catatan waktu yang di buat oleh Ben Spies dari klub Yamaha Tech 3, yang pada akhirnya harus puas di urutan kedua. Adapun pimpinan sementara kompetisi, Jorge Lorenzo, hanya berada di urutan ketiga, setelah terlempar dari Yamaha-nya di menit-menit terakhir pula.

Pembalap Ducati Casey Stoner mendapatkan posisi start nomor empat, satu peringkat di atas Valentino Rossi, yang juga terjatuh dari motornya di akhir-akhir lap. Lima pembalap lain yang mengisi posisi 10 besar adalah Andrea Dovizioso, Colin Edwards, Nicky Hayden, Hector Barbera, dan Loris Capirossi.

Sementara itu rider Suzuki Alvaro Bautista mendapat cedera serius setelah terjatuh dari motornya di latihan ketiga hari ini. Rookie asal Spanyol itu dipastikan absen pada balapan besok, bahkan ada kemungkinan begitu seterusnya sampai musim berakhir.
